With a focus on making animals more comfortable and more productive, ClariFly® Larvicide works as a feed-through to help prevent the emergence of adult house, stable, face, and horn flies by stunting their growth.

ClariFly® Larvicide is an easy-to-use, cost-effective method of fly control that can help contribute to a boost in animal productivity, which can result in a boost in profits. As a feed additive, ClariFly® Larvicide is incorporated into an animal’s feed to stop flies in their larval stage. Adding this ingredient to their feed ration is all the work an employee needs to do to reduce disease-carrying fly populations on an operation.

Because of the confined nature of a dairy, it is important that ClariFly® Larvicide is part of an integrated pest management (IPM) program for effectively controlling fly populations. To be fully effective, it is important to start ClariFly® Larvicide in milk and milk replacer at the calf stage and continue it through adulthood. If you don’t, the flies that start in calving hutches can quickly spread throughout a dairy, making all IPM efforts ineffective.
