June Dairy Month is all about honoring the hardworking hands behind our favorite dairy products, and in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, one local nonprofit is scooping up a creative way to celebrate.

In a quiet corner of Minnesota, in a home bursting at the seams, lives the Guinness World Record holder for the largest collection of cow-related items. What began as a simple admiration for dairy cows has transformed into a one-of-a-kind collection that spans over 21,805 unique items and fills every room of Ruth Klossner’s house.

Motivated by their journey as Belgium immigrants turned American citizens, De Saegher Dairies launched Project FULL – Fuel Up Little Learners, a weekend nutrition program feeding hundreds of local schoolchildren. What began as a desire to give back has evolved into a movement aimed at ending childhood hunger – one backpack at a time.

At Jerseyland Dairy, in-house maintenance has become the cornerstone of operational efficiency and longevity to their 18 Lely A5 milking robots. The team, led by herd manager Craig Flint, handles the majority of robot servicing internally, including greasing, part replacements and preventative upkeep.
