Ag Proud – Idaho magazine announced recently that FFA chapters have received donations totaling $1,527 following the publication's 2025 subscription renewal drive. The campaign, which ran from November 2025 through January 2026, invited FFA members to help gather new and renewing subscriptions to the Jerome-based agricultural magazine from farmers, ranchers and ag professionals in their communities.
“We are proud to support Idaho FFA chapters through this program,” said Walt Cooley, VP of publishing and projects at Progressive Publishing. “These students are the future of Idaho agriculture, and connecting with them and the farming and ranching families in their communities is exactly the kind of partnership we want to build.”
The Aberdeen FFA chapter received the largest donation among participating chapters.
Circulation Manager Lynn Olsen said the student effort made a meaningful difference for the magazine's reach. “Every completed, qualified subscription form represents a real person in Idaho agriculture who wants to stay informed," Olsen said. “These FFA members helped us connect with readers we might not have otherwise reached, and that strengthens our publication.”
The Idaho FFA Foundation facilitated delivery of the lump sum donation to qualifying chapters.
Carly Weaver, executive director of the Idaho FFA Foundation, expressed appreciation for the donation. “We are grateful to Ag Proud – Idaho for creating an opportunity that supports our chapters while also serving Idaho's agricultural community," Weaver said. “This kind of investment in FFA members reflects the values that agriculture in Idaho is built on.”
Participating FFA chapters that received a donation for their efforts included Aberdeen, Caldwell, Dietrich, Glenns Ferry, Hansen, Highland-Craigmont, Marsh Valley, North Gem, Richfield, Skyline and Sugar-Salem.
