First quarter export-assisted sales are the equivalent of 740.1 million pounds of milk on a milkfat basis. That’s the equivalent of the average annual production of 32,261 U.S. dairy cows. It is a voluntary, producer-funded program developed by National Milk Producers Federation (NMPF) to strengthen and stabilize producer prices.
