The September Feed Outlook report shows the 2024-25 U.S. coarse grains supply is relatively unchanged. This month’s outlook is for marginally higher supplies and slightly tighter stocks.

The September World Agricultural Supply and Demand Estimates report (WASDE) showed the U.S. corn outlook has smaller supplies and a modest decline in ending stocks. Projected beginning stocks for 2024-25 are 55 million bushels lower based on increases in exports and corn used for ethanol for 2023-24.

The August Feed Outlook report shows the 2024-25 U.S. coarse grain production forecast is lowered by 1.1 million tons to 396.4 million. Despite a 1% decline in harvested corn area, yield gains boost corn production prospects by 47 million bushels.

The August World Agricultural Supply and Demand Estimates report (WASDE) showed larger supplies, lower domestic use, greater exports and smaller ending stocks. Projected beginning stocks for 2024-25 are 10 million bushels lower based on a slightly higher use forecast for 2023-24.

The July Feed Outlook report shows an increase to U.S. corn production to lift the 2024-25 feed grain supply projection. The supply forecast is 449.9 million metric tons this month, up 2.1 million metric tons from the June WASDE forecast.

The July World Agricultural Supply and Demand Estimates report (WASDE) showed corn has larger supplies, greater domestic use and exports, and slightly lower ending stocks. The season-average farm price received by producers is lowered 10 cents to $4.30 per bushel.

The June Feed Outlook report shows global coarse grains production forecast is lower for 2024-25. The 2024-25 U.S. corn crop has moved forward and is largely completed.

The June World Agricultural Supply and Demand Estimates report (WASDE) showed no change to the 2024-25 U.S. corn outlook relative to last month. The season average price received by producers remains at $4.40 per bushel.

The May Feed Outlook report shows U.S. feed grain production is projected to be lower than a year ago due to lower expected acreage in 2024-25. Although production is down, the supply of feed grain is projected to be above the 2023-24 level.
