I recently heard a speaker deliver an address that made me stop and think about the many things I have to be grateful for in my life. I would like to share some of his words with you below:

I have needs that most of the population does not. For this reason I do most of my clothes shopping mail-order or online via Sheplers or Cabela’s. Most of the clothing they carry comes in tall sizes.

When growing alfalfa, variety selection is only one key to maximizing yield and forage quality. Even the best seed genetics will never allow a crop to reach its full potential unless growers also take the necessary steps to identify their specific, individual needs prior to planting and establishing a successful stand.

According to the 2010 National Alfalfa & Forage Alliance (NAFA) variety list, there are approximately 202 alfalfa varieties marketed in the United States.
