Brown Heaven Farm is a fifth-generation Brown Swiss dairy farm located in Verchères, Quebec. Alyson Rousseau at age 12 is following in her family’s footsteps with her passion for dairy. 

The 102nd Royal Agricultural Winter Fair that took place Nov. 1-10 did not disappoint. Showcasing some of the best of the best dairy cattle in North America, three dairy breed associations took to the main stage for dairy enthusiasts from around the world to celebrate in downtown Toronto, Ontario.

En avril dernier, quatre étudiants du programme de Gestion et technologies d’entreprise agricole (GTEA) de l’Université McGill ont participé au North American Intercollegiate Dairy Challenge (NAIDC) 2024.

Au fil du temps, mon expérience dans l’industrie laitière m’a appris que pratiquement tout le monde a un lien avec le secteur laitier. 

Quelques années avant ma naissance, mes parents, Martin Paquette et Rachel Mahannah, ont repris la relève de la ferme Mahvhays au Bringham, Québec, appartenant auparavant aux parents de ma mère. 

En février dernier, j’ai eu l’occasion de représenter Progressive Dairy au Progressive Dairy Operators (PDO) Triannual Dairy Symposium de Toronto.
