The Reynolds family has decorated the property of their Reynolds Farm Equipment John Deere dealership in Fishers, Indiana, since 1992 with an array of farm and traditional nativity scenes, all lit up in Christmas lights for visitors to drive through during the Christmas season.

Happy 2018! It is nearly one month into the new year, and it may be time to adjust or redefine your resolutions to turn them into reality over the next 11 months. It is never too late to set new goals and intentions for the year, and it is important to remember that successful goals continue to evolve over time.

An increasing number of farms are opting to add an agritourism component to their operation. One of the reasons a farm may choose to diversify with agritourism is the opportunity to bring another family member into the farming business without adding more cows or more acreage.

Farming is busy, especially on a dairy farm. There always seems to be something going on, and meal preparation is sometimes the last thing on our minds as we are trying to get hay in before the rain, fix the tractor that has been acting up and treat the cow that just went down with milk fever. 

What I love most about the dairy industry is that it truly is a community. From industry events to social media, meeting up with other dairy industry members often feels more like a family reunion.

Technology, among other things, has changed the dairy landscape, and as dairy numbers continue to decline and farm sizes increase, it’s important to tell the story of how we progressed to where we are today.
