A Wisconsin-based company aims to help dairies improve herd health and milk production with a new technology that levels up the usefulness of on-farm water troughs. The company’s new trough design eliminates organic materials with minimal water usage before they inhibit cleanliness.

A 50-plus-year-old Idaho equipment dealership has a new location for its sales and repair shop in Jerome, Idaho. Mountain View Equipment moved into a brand-new $10 million facility just off I-84 Exit 165 in Jerome in April.

New Plymouth High School’s current ag building was built in the 1940s and was intended as the classroom for a much smaller student enrollment. Now the school has seven ag classes per day with more than 160 kids enrolled.

With a footprint about half the size of a football field, the new building will double the lab space available for the school’s welding, food science, animal science, ag mechanics and plant science classes. Even while doubling its space, the ag program will still have extra room to accommodate future growth.

Progressive Dairy hosted these technologies along with PDPW on the Nexus Innovation stage – a live-format presentation that is a cross between a TED Talk and a Shark Tank pitch.
