June in Wisconsin brings people together – from Cows on the Concourse to a family wedding that closes the month with joy.

A block of butter, plastic cutlery and just 10 minutes on the clock may not sound like the recipe for a crowd-pleaser, but at the Washburn County Fairgrounds in Spooner, Wisconsin, it proved to be the perfect dairy activity for June Dairy Month.

Downtown Buffalo, New York’s Explore & More – The Ralph C. Wilson Children’s Museum has added a captivating new addition to its fourth floor. The “Moo-ve The Milk” exhibit is a hands-on display that takes children and their families through the journey of milk from cow to grocery store, making dairy education as fun as it is informative.

For more than two decades, a National Dairy Month poster contest has been inspiring creativity and agricultural awareness among students across the Southeast.

Shari Van de Pol, founder of Cattleytics, appeared on season 20, episode 16 of CBC’s Dragon’s Den. Progressive Dairy Editor Matti McBride interviewed Van de Pol to learn more about the experience of appearing on national television.

Last year, Dairy West, representing dairy producers in Idaho and Utah, was also approved to oversee dairy product education and promotion for producers in Washington and Oregon. The board-approved merger, a solution to address consolidation and industry needs, is an example of the ever-changing landscape of dairy product promotion for U.S. consumers.

Taking others’ advice led Nicole Morris to become a dairy science instructor at Modesto Junior College (MJC) as well as grow her social media platform beyond Instagram and into Tik Tok. Morris juggles those passions along with running J&M Dairy with her husband, Johnny. 

In 2014, French pastry chef Maxime Pouvreau founded Petit Pot with the dream of bringing a taste of France to American shelves. After moving to California, Pouvreau poured his passion for high-quality, simple ingredients into creating creamy, delicious desserts inspired by his homeland.

Last December, a Florida dairy farm transformed into a winter wonderland full of Christmas trees, festive music, 40,000 lights and fun activities for the entire family, including photos with Santa, a snow tubing hill and artificial snow.
