Dairy Farmers of Canada’s (DFC) proAction Farmer Resources library gives farmers easy access to tools and guidance to help them understand, meet and exceed proAction’s requirements.

Dairy Farmers of Canada (DFC) shares the story behind these commitments in its new three-episode podcast mini-series, The Value of proAction. 

Dairy Farmers of Canada (DFC) is piloting on-farm projects to gather farmers’ experiences and perspectives in two key areas: the new and updated Code of Practice for the Care and Handling of Dairy Cattle, and further implementation of sustainability tools to measure greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions.

The progression of highly pathogenic avian influenza (HPAI) requires heightened biosecurity measures at the farm, in addition to those already undertaken through the proAction biosecurity module. 

Most recently, DFC implemented new requirements for the proAction program on Sept. 1, 2023. The revisions are minor but include the following notable changes.
