Time to comment on 590 revisions

NRCS is currently revising the National 590 Nutrient Management Standard. The proposed new national 590 Nutrient Management technical standard was posted on Jan. 11, 2011, on the Federal Register.

Instructions for how to make comments are on this website. The due date for comments is Feb. 25, 2011. The draft of the 590 Standard can be downloaded here.

After the National Standard is finalized, states will most likely revise their 590 Standard to follow the national standard. PD
