The document, currently designated X625, Testing Requirements for Drawbar Pins, will establish the dimensional and minimum-strength requirements for agricultural drawbar hitch pins used in the single-point attaching of towed equipment to tractors or other towed equipment.
Additionally, this standard will define loading conditions for drawbar pin retention systems. Application of this standard will assume there is a clevis on the towing machine and a ring on the towed machine.
