Dairypalooza!

Participating in the 4-H dairy project is much more than exhibiting a heifer at Achievement Day. Many life skills are learned through the project that can lead to a love of the dairy industry.

The University of Florida and the University of Guelph have cultivated a new science communication collaboration to engage college students in an international podcast production.

From an early age, Libby Hasheider played an active role in her family’s dairy farm in southern Wisconsin by assisting her grandpa in feeding and caring for calves. This experience ignited her desire to merge her two passions together – love of teaching and dairy. 

The dairy industry is diverse, and Aubrey Schlimgen and Max Shenkenberg’s paths into it are no exception. While Schlimgen was raised on a family dairy farm, Shenkenberg embarked on his dairy career during college.

Life after high school looks different for everyone, as each person’s path is unique. However, colleges including Northcentral Technical College are dedicated to offering experiences and hands-on opportunities that can serve as valuable foundations for future careers.
