At the 2025 Idaho National FFA Organization Convention, Idaho Superintendent Debbie Critchfield announced that the legislature passed a measure allowing FFA projects to count as "future readiness" projects, replacing the traditional senior project requirement. Rigby High School ag department builds new CTE building

A testament to problem-solving, Rigby High’s nationally ranked FFA and welding programs needed space. After failed bonds, ag teachers secured a $5.3 million state grant and a donated steel structure, creating a new CTE facility and expanding opportunities.

Idaho has implemented various initiatives to control the wolf population and mitigate livestock losses. With funding from both state programs and private organizations, ranchers now have new tools to combat wolf-related depredation.
