The University of Illinois will be offering three online dairy classes in the fall 2014 semester.

A one credit dairy class will be offered titled “Ration balancing and building” class using the Spartan III dairy model by Mike Hutjens. The five-week class begins in mid-September and is open for enrollment for credit or non-credit students.

Mike Hutjens will also be coordinating an advanced dairy management and diagnostics class for two credits starting in mid-September for 10 weeks featuring calf and heifer systems, genetics, farm systems and health.

Dr. Dick Wallace will be offering his advanced dairy reproduction class for two credits starting in September. Enrollment is open now and is a 10-week class ending in November. Enrollment and details for all three dairy classes can be found at the University of Illinois website. PD
