DAIReXNET and the National Association of County Agricultural Agents is hosting a webinar titled “How Low Can We Go: Nitrogen In Dairy Rations.” The webinar is free to the public and is geared toward bringing pertinent information to extension educators, allied industry professionals, veterinarians and dairy producers across the U.S.

The “How Low Can We Go: Nitrogen In Dairy Rations” webinar will be held March 7 at 1 p.m. EST and is approved for one CEU credit from ARPAS. Dr. Mike Van Amburgh of Cornell University will discuss how low we can formulate dairy rations for nitrogen, and what this means for the cost of the ration and environmental impact. We will also hear from Mike McMahon, a dairy producer, on the practical side of nitrogen management.

Another upcoming webinar to note on your calendar will be held April 4 at 1 p.m. EDT. This one will feature Frank Mitloehner speaking on air quality.
