The Federal Milk Marketing Order (FMMO) Class III milk price set a record high in May and moved above the Class IV milk price for the first month since last October.

The Federal Milk Marketing Order (FMMO) advanced Class I base price set a new all-time record high in June at $25.87 per hundredweight (cwt). The June 2022 price is up 42 cents from May 2022 and $7.58 more than June 2021.

USDA’s Federal Milk Marketing Order (FMMO) program was established in the 1930s with a simple policy objective to stem destructive competition in milk markets.
