A dairy products manufacturer based in Gujarat, in western India, has announced that it will begin producing Indian cheese (paneer) and butter (ghee) at an existing New York state plant owned by New Jersey-based NRI Piyush Patel.

The Wisconsin Department of Justice has filed and settled a lawsuit against Thistle Dairy, LLC, and its owner/operators Jim Thompson and James T. Thompson, for violations of state water pollution control laws at the Thistle Dairy operation in Winnebago County.
