Teagle Machinery, Ltd., will launch seven new models and enhancements of its Tomahawk series in early October.
The models are now available from distributors and will be arriving at selected dealers shortly.
The new Teagle Tomahawk mid-range bale processors 8100, 8150, 8500, 8550 machines are capable of handling 6-by-4 foot/6-by-5 foot round bales and 4-by-4-by-8 foot square bales.

Side ramp: A new optional side ramp kit for Featherlite stock trailer Model 8127 is designed for easy loading of an ATV. The option widens the escape door to 54 inches and includes two separate ramps to attach.
U.S. pork and beef exports concluded the first half of 2012 in solid fashion, with June pork exports 4 percent higher in value than last year on steady volume. Despite a 15 percent decline in volume, June beef exports were still slightly higher in value than a year ago. These results are based on statistics released by the USDA and compiled by the U.S. Meat Export Federation (USMEF).
Cooperative Resources International (CRI) of Shawano, Wisconsin, and Reproducción Animal S.A. de C.V. (RASA) of Tlalnepantla, Mexico, have agreed in principal on the sale of RASA to CRI. Management staff from both organizations are finalizing business plans with an expected transition date of Jan. 1, 2013.
I dreamed of fresh-smelling rain that beat waves against windows and swept slowly through fields to fill every crack before moving on to refill ponds and kick-start the creeks. The U.S. Drought Monitor continues to show the spread of severe and extreme drought into larger areas of cow-calf country. Producers are seeing the effects of more heat, reduced forage quality and dwindling water supplies in the cows and calves.
Increased imports of Mexican cattle have supplemented dwindling U.S. feeder cattle supplies the past two years. Mexican cattle imports increased 16 percent from 2010 to 2011 to 1.42 million head.
