Toyota launches program to benefit California FFA chapters

For the fourth year, Toyota will donate a new Tundra to World Ag Expo's FFA Toyota Tundra Giveaway. Toyota and California FFA chapters are working together with World Ag Expo to support FFA programs in schools throughout California. Tickets are available from FFA members, online at www.WorldAgExpo.com or at ticket gates during World Ag Expo for a suggested donation of $5.

With a dry growing season this year, barns of livestock producers are going into the winter with lower than normal stocks of hay. Challenging weather has also made the availability of hay scarce, pasture supplies short and hay prices have risen as a result. It’s important for hay buyers to beware of the quality and weight of the hay they are buying according to Tim Schnakenberg, agronomy specialist with University of Missouri Extension.

Permits available to allow baling hay from ODOT rights-of-way
