My name is Greg Latza, and I’m a freelance photographer living in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

The end of one year and the start of another is often a reflective period. With that in mind, the editors of Progressive Dairy reached out to our editorial advisers and asked them to reflect on the following question:

CDCB hosted its fifth annual industry meeting at World Dairy Expo in Madison, Wisconsin, on Oct. 1, drawing dairy producers and representatives from artificial insemination (A.I.), genomic nominators, breed associations, dairy herd information (DHI) and dairy records processing centers (DRPCs).

The dairy community is creative and innovative. Dairy Strong brings farmers and industry professionals from diverse management philosophies together to focus on what matters by providing content that is relevant, inspiring and entertaining.

Where do you live?

More than 250 dairy producers and industry representatives gathered at the University of Florida in Gainesville, on Sept. 18, for the 55th Annual Florida Dairy Production Conference.

It’s become a tradition for the Progressive Dairy team to scope out new products, ideas and innovations to share with readers following World Dairy Expo in Madison, Wisconsin. The 2019 show, with the theme of “Tools for Dairy’s Progress,” had plenty to offer.
