What previous positions have you held before your promotion?
I have spent my entire sales career running territories across the southwestern U.S. I started by selling liquid supplements to the beef and dairy industries in Texas, New Mexico and Arizona. With the expansion of the dairy industry in the Texas-New Mexico area, my focus became predominantly dairy feeds, commodities and mineral supplementation. My most recent positions have been held with Zinpro Corporation. I began as southwest account manager prior to my recent promotion.

Who has made the biggest impact on your career?
I was blessed with two exceptional grandfathers. At an early age, I learned from them the value of hard work and integrity, to take pride in what you do and to work hard every day. Both of these men earned the utmost respect from their coworkers and peers, and they had a huge influence on my life.

Over the course of my 20-year career, I have had the privilege of knowing and working with many exceptional people, but the individual who has had the greatest impact on my career is Russ Wyllie, vice president of sales – the Americas, Zinpro Corporation. Russ gave me an opportunity to join his group four years ago, and it has been the best career decision I’ve ever made.

Why did you choose this company?
The company has a great reputation within the industry. Being a family-owned company, it has always stood for quality and integrity, not only pertaining to its products, but most of all, to its people.

As I went through the interview process with management, I became even more impressed with the organization and its employees. Each employee takes ownership of his or her role, and, as a result, the company has enjoyed tremendous success. I am truly honored to be a part of the team.

What goals would you like to accomplish in your new position?
