Conference planning is ongoing, but there will be something for all Kansas forage and livestock producers. Tentatively there will be four workshop sections including, winter feeding management, grazing cover crops and residues, regenerative grazing, and soil health and carbon sequestration in grazing lands, along with multiple concurrent presentations and a poster session.

The American Forage and Grassland Council (AFGC) invites farmers, extension educators, federal and state agency representatives, researchers and industry representatives to submit proposals for volunteer presentations to be made in oral or poster format.

Volunteer paper format includes:

  • Oral presentation – Timed oral presentations (including time for Q&A) are grouped by topic. An oral session contains five to six presentations and is 90 minutes in length.

  • Poster presentation – Posters are available for viewing for one day. Presenters must be available next to their posters for questions and discussion during specific time periods as noted on the program.

The deadline for submissions is July 5, 2021

For the submission form, visit the AFGC website. The AFGC looks forward to reviewing this year’s submissions.
