Progressive Cattleman recently asked, “What do you think of McDonald’s effort to market all sustainable beef by 2016?”

Fifty-three percent answered, “Against it. The beef we produce is sustainable, and consumers want it to be affordable.”

Another 34 percent said, “Uncertain. It’s confusing and doesn’t give clarity on what’s sustainable.”

Those who said, “I’m all for it,” were in the minority with 13 percent.  end mark
