Max Wolf of Lebanon, Connecticut, was recognized as the runner-up scholarship winner. Wolf is a freshman at Penn State University majoring in Animal Science with a business option.

The Bovance Student Scholarship Contest is open to high school seniors and students pursuing their first or second year of higher education. Students pick a topic to write about ranging from which animal they would clone, how cloning could help feed the world to communicating with consumers on the value of cloning.

This year’s winner, Zuck, answered the question, “How could genetic preservation and cloning help feed the world in the years to come?”

Wolf’s essay, this year’s runner-up winner, focused on the topic of why he would clone a specific bull.
