Randy and Peggy Norman Cass County, Minnesota The Crookston Times ran a short article about a court case that awarded $6.3 million to a couple whose milk cows were injured or killed by stray voltage on their dairy farm from a Brainerd utility company. The judge awarded the damages to Randy and Peggy Norman of Pine River after finding Crow Wing Power was negligent in the delivery of electricity to the farm. The conference kicked off with an evening reception on Nov. 4. The following day, keynote speaker Mike McGrann of Saint Joseph’s University challenged attendees to lead better communication within their farming enterprises.
