When I think about what it means to be a modern-day farm chick, I
think about all the women in agriculture who wear so many different
hats. Today’s farm women are more than farmers, more than mothers and
more than someone’s employee.
As the years move forward, it seems as if personal health, growth and development become more of an issue of importance, and so does the topic of speaking out about it.
“An apple a day keeps the doctor away.” Where did that phrase come from? I’m guessing it was during the 1800s apple growers association’s marketing campaign.
