Ericson told the Women of Influence group, “I am fortunate to serve a group of tremendously passionate and talented individuals who push me, and each other, to be our best. I am most proud of my team and seeing them grow and succeed.”

Ericson has been with the company for 20 years. Her education includes a bachelor's in animal science and a master of agriculture in beef industry leadership from Colorado State University.

She has also served the industry as an executive committee member for the U.S. Meat Export Federation and as a committee member of the National Cattlemen’s Beef Association as well as in other community and volunteer organizations.

Giving advice to upcoming executives, Ericson said, "Go the extra mile and make yourself known. More hires are based on personal referrals than you may realize. Once you are on the job, take on big and small projects that show both your breadth of expertise and your willingness to do whatever it takes."  end mark
