This year’s event features registered Hereford, Angus and English AOB/Continental AOB breeding heifer shows. Steers will show by weight in light- and heavyweight divisions, with champions selected in both.

Additionally, the event features a showmanship competition, with divisions for junior, intermediate and senior exhibitors. Overall awards will be presented in heifer, steer and showmanship competitions, in addition to class and division winners.

Steer weigh-in is from 8 to 9 a.m. on show day; the show begins at noon. Exhibitors are required to bring their own bedding and clean stalls before departure. Generators are encouraged and food will be available on site.

Exhibitors from 8 to 21 years of age are welcome to enter, with ages reflective as of Jan. 1 of the current year. Early entry fee is $30 per head, postmarked by May 9. Steer entries will be taken up until 9 a.m. show morning, but heifer entries are due by May 9. No heifer entries will be taken the day of the show.

Visit the website for entry forms and click on the “News” tab. Or, contact Scott and Kim Holt by email or at (208) 459-2013.
