AgraTronix has introduced the MT-PRO+ 05100 Portable Grain Moisture Tester. The MT-PRO+ features a direct readout for 40 different grain scales for high moisture grain up to 40 percent. According to AgraTronix, the grain meter accurately indicates the above limit and below limit moisture values for farmers working to preserve the value of their crops and ensure that their grain sells for what it is worth.

This past year, my colleagues and I at Progressive Publishing have been reading some of the history behind the explorer Roald Amundsen, the Norwegian who led the first modern exploration team to reach the South Pole. Margin forecasts look positive for new year

Cattle finishing margins have been largely flat over the past few months, with limited deviation in the price of corn, feeder or live cattle contracts on the CME Group. On a positive note, margins are projected to be positive throughout 2013 based upon current price levels, although feeder cattle availability will no doubt be tight heading into the spring calving season.
