June Dairy Month feels like the holiday season in our industry – you spend months planning events and in-person gatherings, and are coming up with creative ideas for gifts and giveaways to celebrate the people and industry you love so much.

The 2022 Professional Dairy Producers (PDPW) Business Conference brought together more than 1,200 dairy producers and industry professionals March 16-17 at Kalahari Resorts in Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin.

Farmers from throughout western Wisconsin gathered in late March to learn more about how managing milk production growth could impact producer income and slow the exodus of dairy herds. More than 200 farmers attended a series of “Dairy Together” meetings held in Abbotsford, Cashton and Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin.

It’s hard to imagine that one of the most influential youth programs of the dairy industry began as a drawing on a cocktail napkin, but perhaps all great ideas start out that way.

Dairy farmers and industry alike were enthusiastic to gather in person once again for the 2022 Dairy Strong Conference, hosted by Wisconsin’s Dairy Business Association.

Warm, sunny weather greeted attendees for the restart of World Ag Expo in 2022. The last live event was held in February 2020, before pandemic-induced cancellations required skipping last year’s event.
