This year, on March 12, my parents will celebrate their 70th wedding anniversary. They were married in 1942, just as World War II was rearing its monstrous head. Daddy was 19 and Mom was barely 15.
HOW WE MET: I sat next to Gary on a recent flight from Phoenix to Minneapolis. We struck up a conversation talking about what each other did for a living.

I have just returned from Morobo County, in the Central Equatoria state of South Sudan. It is in the Greenbelt, which is so named because of the usual rainfall, beginning in March and ending about October. As of this writing we are in the dry season, November through February.
A classic nursery rhyme starts like this:
Little Miss Muffet Sat on a tuffet, Eating her curds and whey;
The poem’s main character loved every bit of dairy. But what if this Mother Goose character became a modern, more selective dairy consumer?
