What education are you bringing with you to this position?

I earned a bachelor of science from Purdue University, where I majored in food science with a meat science emphasis. I also earned a doctor of veterinary medicine with a food animal medicine emphasis from Purdue University. Most recently, I earned an MBA from the Krannert School of Business – Purdue University.

Please describe your agricultural background.
I was raised on a dairy and hog farm in Indiana. I have spent my professional career immersed in agriculture – as a practicing veterinarian and with several consultative and management positions for organizations that service the agricultural industry.

What territory will you cover?
My territory includes the U.S., Canada and Mexico.

What are your new responsibilities?
I will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing the execution of marketing and business management efforts for the company.

What previous positions have you held?
I previously served as director of dairy initiatives for Vita Plus Corporation and as director of U.S. and global technical services with ABS Global, Inc. I also held sales and technical support roles with Monsanto Dairy Business, and owned and operated a private veterinary practice in Eden, Wisconsin.

What excites you most about working in your new role?
This role is a great opportunity to work with our team to provide dairy producers and nutritionists the products and technology they need to increase animal performance and profitability. For me, being part of developing great business and people is very exciting.

How will you, in your new role, be of most help to dairy producers?

My experiences with animal health, nutrition, on-farm management and business operations will help me – and Arm & Hammer – deliver the tools and information dairy producers and their nutrition teams need to optimize animal health and profitability.

What goals would you like to accomplish while in this position?

My objective is to help dairy producers and nutritionists get their jobs done more effectively and consistently to achieve their animal performance goals and profitability targets.

It’s also my goal to provide dairies and their management teams with the tools and decision-making skills to increase their efficiency while increasing reliance on Arm & Hammer as the go-to resource for transition, lactation and replacement performance. PD
