The British Columbia dairy industry came together in Vancouver for the 5th annual BC Dairy Industry Conference to learn, network and socialize with fellow dairy farmers and industry affiliates. The event took place Nov. 27-29 at the Fairmont Pacific Rim Hotel and Vancouver Convention Centre, bringing together 500 people over three days.

DuPont Pioneer is building two new processing towers at its Chatham, Ontario, production location. The government of Canada announced on Sept. 16 that it would invest $12 million in a second Dairy Research Cluster to drive innovation in dairy.The Dairy Research Cluster program, which is now in its second term, is led by Dairy Farmers of Canada. It builds on research themes carried over in part from the first cluster program (2010-2013) and will run for the next five years.
