University of Guelph researches ‘green’ practices for dairies

Titled “Farm-scale assessment of greenhouse gas mitigation strategies in dairy livestock-cropping systems,” the project’s goal is to develop the best management practices that can be recommended to producers.

Armstrong Manor Farm expands gradually, uses technology

The Armstrong brothers are the fifth generation of their family to farm their homestead near Caledon, Ontario. Philip, Peter and Robert farmed with their dad on the 100-acre homestead since the 1980s.
