World Dairy Expo (WDX) has been ranked 26th in Trade Show News Network’s Top 250 Trade Shows in the U.S. Based on net square footage, this list recognizes the top 250 trade shows held in 2013 across all industries from agriculture and construction to housewares and technology.

The 98th annual delegate meeting of the Michigan Milk Producers Association (MMPA) was held on March 20 at the Lansing Center in Lansing, Michigan. Business conducted by the delegates included the re-election of Rodney Daniels, of Whittemore, to an at-large position on the board of directors, changes to the cooperative’s bylaws and adoption of the 2014 MMPA resolutions.

As this issue hits your mailbox, the Dairy Calf & Heifer Association’s annual conference is taking place in Green Bay, Wisconsin (April 1-3). New to this year’s conference format are several tour stops, each of which will provide additional, focused training from industry experts. Professional Dairy Producers of Wisconsin (PDPW) will host its Dairy Quality Insight Workshop focused on “Milk, Meat & Margin” from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. April 10 at the Hyatt on Main, 333 Main St., Green Bay, Wisconsin.

World Dairy Expo’s board of directors and committees met March 3-4 at the Alliant Energy Center in Madison, Wisconsin. Representatives from across North America provided input on a multitude of topics related to hosting the annual dairy event.

More than 1,400 Dairy Farmers of America members and guests convened in Kansas City for the cooperative’s 16th annual meeting. In recognition of the dedication by its farmer-owners, DFA explored the diverse ways the cooperative and its member-owners are committed to the dairy industry.
