Quality Cheese Ricotta crowned grand champion at 2013 Canadian Cheese Grand Prix

Dairy Farmers of Canada declared Quality Cheese Ricotta as the Grand Champion at the 8th edition of the Canadian Cheese Grand Prix. The Ricotta was the first fresh cheese and the first cheese from Ontario to be honored as a Grand Champion.

Holstein Canada has achieved an all-time new record for animal registrations: 280,620 registrations were completed in 2012, representing a 3.3 per cent growth over 2011. Electronic registrations continue to grow and now represent 86 per cent of the total.
