BouMatic has introduced to the U.S. dairy industry its GlacierChill modular chiller, making it the newest addition to a long line of cooling and chiller products offered by the company. Dennie Plomedahl, BouMatic brand manager, said, “The GlacierChill modular chiller is all BouMatic from the ground up. The unit was designed and is manufactured in Madison, Wisconsin, by engineers who understand what it takes to chill milk efficiently and consistently.

"The GlacierChill is built from the highest quality components including compressors with digital modulation, highly efficient brazed plate heat exchangers, a digital control platform and heavy gauge frame and sheet metal components.”

At the heart of the GlacierChill is best-in-industry control software, designed to overcome the challenges of cooling milk and producing consistent, on-target milk temperatures.

Unlike other off-the-shelf controls designed for less demanding conditions, BouMatic Engineers designed GlacierChill controls to respond to the slightest variation in milk load.

The GlacierChill’s modular design allows dairy operators to quickly add GlacierChill modules as their milk production increases. GlacierChill modules can also be added to non-BouMatic chillers, for efficient, economical expansion of any chilling system.
