Case IH continued its long-standing support of the National FFA Foundation by donating a new, one-of-a-kind Case skid steer nicknamed, “Red Power,” to be auctioned off later next year to benefit the National FFA Foundation. “‘Red Power’ is a one-of-a-kind, tricked out skid steer, specially designed with Case IH enthusiasts and collectors in mind,” explains Kyle Russell, senior director of marketing, Case IH North America. “We’re excited to unveil this unique design at the National FFA Convention in Indianapolis, and to have the opportunity to leverage it for the benefit of FFA’s important mission of preparing the next crop of agriculture leaders.”

From a practical standpoint, “Red Power” is a Case model SV250 skid steer, with 82 gross engine horsepower, and a 2,500-pound rated operating capacity (ROC). Factory features include a full cab with heat and air conditioning and switchable (pattern) electro-hydraulic (EH) controls. “Red Power” also offers the High Flow Plus Performance Package, with high-flow hydraulics, front electric, ride control and electronic self leveling. In addition, it features 14-inch tires, a 4 in 1 bucket with tooth bar, hydraulic coupler, cylinder guards, four-point strobe kit, rear side light kit and counter weight kit.

What makes “Red Power” extraordinary are its exclusive features including added dual chrome exhaust stacks, custom eight-spoke pattern wheels with chrome center caps and lugs, tinted cab windows and a custom red leather seat. Red LED lighting illuminates the skid steer’s undercarriage, the rear add-on counterweights, the operator compartment and the loader arm. The cab also features indirect LED lighting and LED spots in the AC vents.

The custom Case IH-red paint job, along with a unique “Red Power” decal package, made specifically for the skid steer, provide the finishing touches for a complete Case IH look. “Red Power” was created as a cooperative project between CaseIH and its sister company Case Construction, who supplies the skid steers sold through Case IH dealers.

Throughout the next 12 months, “Red Power” will be displayed at national events to spark interest and attract potential buyers. It will be on display at the National Cattlemen's Beef Association annual meeting, National Farm Machinery Show, Commodity Classic, Farm Progress Show, Husker Harvest Days and many other venues.
