In a recent poll, Progressive Cattleman asked, “How much are you willing to pay for a bull?”
Twenty-eight percent said that they are willing to pay up to $3,500 for a bull. Thirty percent said that they are willing to pay a little more, between $5,000 and $10,000.
The majority (35 percent) went with the more frugal, but not penny-pinching, price of $3,500 to $5,000.
In dead last with 7 percent, there are a few who are willing to pay big bucks for quality. They said they would pay more than $10,000 dollars for a bull.
