Arrowlock Head Gate from Arrowquip
The Arrowlock Head Gate is unlike any other within the cattle industry. To make this cattle head gate stronger and easier to use, it has been redesigned with an all-new ratchet-style locking mechanism with independent locking doors for additional security. This new locking technology guarantees a strong hold on your cattle every single time. Paired with Arrowquip's 3E: Easy Entry and Exit technology, the Arrowlock Head Gate offers superior animal control that is unstoppable.
The ratchet locking design allows for even more precision when catching cattle and is four times stronger than the original Q-Catch Cattle Head Gate – making it the strongest head gate in the industry. This strength allows ranchers to catch cattle of any size, including the biggest bulls, but is still gentle enough that it won’t harm them. The operation of this head gate is smooth and requires minimal effort by the operator to keep cattle secure, which can eliminate the risk of cattle slipping out and greatly improve safety on your ranch. The new head gate comes in three series: the Arrowlock 88, Arrowlock 75 and Arrowlock 55.

Synovex Primer and Synovex Choice approved for pasture cattle
Zoetis announced earlier this year that it recently received an expanded label approval from the FDA’s Center for Veterinary Medicine for Synovex Primer and Synovex Choice to increase weight gain in growing beef steers and heifers on pasture.
For cattle producers growing cattle on grass, the goal is to efficiently add as many pounds to each animal as possible during the grazing season. Typically, conventional growth implants increase cattle weight gains by 15 to 40 pounds during the grazing season. In current cattle markets, that can lead to an additional $38 to $101 per head for cattle producers.
“Growth promotion products always pay because they help make your cattle gain muscle mass more efficiently,” said Dr. Jeff Sarchet, veterinarian with Zoetis beef technical services. “Having a new indication for Synovex Primer and Synovex Choice for cattle on pasture gives stocker producers more options and flexibility.”
Refer to individual labels for complete directions for use, precautions and warnings. Reimplant only if and as directed in labeling.
