Sarah E. Peterson Stout BioTracking LLC Moscow, Idaho Marketing and Sales Specialist

What are your new responsibilities?

As the marketing and sales specialist for BioTracking LLC., my goal is to help grow awareness of BioPRYN blood pregnancy testing. I hope to further share this research and expertise.

To accomplish this goal, I will assist in the development of marketing strategies and execution of marketing plans, including the production of BioPRYN promotional materials and the development and maintenance of affiliate laboratory network relationships. In addition, I will determine consumer needs to ensure that current and future products align with industry growth.

Please describe your agricultural background.
I grew up on a cow-calf operation in Mountain Home, Idaho, where I was involved in 4-H for 11 years, showing horses and beef heifers. This experience, along with the dedication of my parents, Terry and MaryAnn Peterson, and my brother, John Peterson, instilled a passion for agriculture in me that I thrive off today.

During college, I worked at the University of Idaho Dairy Research Center through a summer internship and then became the part-time assistant manager of the facility. As an undergraduate, I also participated in the North American Intercollegiate Dairy Challenge, competing at the regional and national levels, and was involved with Student Idaho Cattlemen’s Association, the University of Idaho Dairy Club and the American Dairy Science Association.

My skills in the livestock industry were further grown through a summer internship on a 45,000-head feed yard in Wallace, Nebraska. I then attended the University of Idaho for graduate school where I focused on applied dairy nutrition.

Agriculture is a way of life for me and I am looking forward to continuing being involved and contributing to the industry.
