Preformed Line Products introduces Ranchmate fencing

Preformed Line Products announced the national launch of Ranchmate, a line of new wire fence construction and repair products. The company has applied its proprietary technology – originally developed for the utility industry nearly 70 years ago – to its products for use with high tensile smooth and barbed wire fencing. With this product, farmers and ranchers can build and mend fences like utility linesman have built and fixed overhead conductor lines for decades.

FDA comments on ‘superbug’ claims

April 26, 2013
An early April article from the Environmental Working Group (EWG) on the findings of the FDA’s Retail Meat Report has led the FDA to make a new statement clarifying its findings. The FDA report is designed to track antibiotic resistant bacteria in meat products like beef, poultry and pork and is conducted in conjunction with the USDA and the Center for Disease Control and prevention.
