World Ag Expo recently announced its top 10 new product award winners, and two dairy-related products made the list. Information about each is included in this article.

Maintaining a farm or ranch requires a lot of non-lateral movement, and operators should not have to slow down because they cannot reach high enough. The John Deere 344L High-Lift Wheel Loader option offers operators 12 more inches of reach with a maximum hinge pin height of 13 feet, 2 inches (compared to the 344L), making it more adept at stacking and dumping applications, while still remaining compact. This extra reach makes this option a good fit for ag material handling, or snow removal tasks.

Valley Agricultural Software is bringing full mobile integration to its ParlorBoss software product, which helps dairy producers streamline and take control of their parlor logistics. ParlorBoss is used by producers – in both rotary and parallel parlor setups – to take a roll call of all cows as they enter the parlor, then alerting employees to cows that are in the wrong pen, when a move is needed, and also when additional services are needed before the cow leaves the parlor.
