Earlier this year the House Judiciary Subcommittee on Immigration and Border Security held a hearing to learn what is needed to transfer from H-2A to a workable agricultural guest worker program.
Here are excerpts of testimony presented at the hearing.
Men who are dairy farmers have it pretty easy when it comes to networking.

Cabrera is an assistant professor at the University of Wisconsin – Madison Department of Dairy Science. He is also a dairy management extension specialist for UW-Extension.
I recently returned from attending the Western Dairy Management Conference in Reno, Nevada. Attendance at the event exceeded that from 2011 – the last time the conference convened. This was encouraging given that the dairy industry continues to be a volatile marketplace.
