Corn price maintained at $4 per bushel

The December World Agricultural Supply and Demand Estimates report (WASDE) showed this month’s 2025-26 U.S. corn outlook is for greater exports and lower ending stocks. Exports are raised 125 million bushels to 3.2 billion, reflecting shipments to date.

FDA conditionally approves topical drug for NWS, fever tick

On Dec. 4, the FDA conditionally approved Exzolt Cattle-CA1 (fluralener), a topical solution to prevent and treat infestations of New World screwworm (NWS) larvae and cattle fever tick. The drug is approved for use in beef cattle 2 months old and older and dairy heifers younger than 20 months.
