Dairyman Kirt Lindley of Hyrum, Utah, tells how his dairy got started feeding fodder to his milk cows.
Lindley sprouts barley seed in a climate-controlled building and feeds it six days later. He can produce more than 4,000 pounds of fodder each day. Progressive Dairyman magazine featured this video at World Ag Expo 2015 as part of its dairy seminar series at the show. PD
