In a recent online poll, Progressive Dairyman asked, “Are you in favour of implementing ingredient strategies?”
Only 9 percent said that the Canadian price structure is fine as it is. However, a surprisingly large majority of 91 percent said, “Yes, a national program is best.”
No one thought the ingredient strategies should be implemented on the provincial scale. PD
