In 2015, Recharge with Milk sponsored 34 events over 53 days in Ontario and Atlantic Canada, including triathlons, marathons, basketball and rugby games, and mountain bike races. An important part of sponsoring these initiatives is the opportunity to explain the benefits of chocolate milk for athletes as a better alternative to sport drinks to recuperate. Needless to say, we hope this will ultimately help increase chocolate milk sales.

All in all, we interacted with 37,000 athletes and distributed more than 53,000 small cartons of chocolate milk. This was in addition to the 23,267 branded items that were handed out at events to remind athletes to keep chocolate milk in mind when reaching for a post-workout recovery drink.

Finally, we are proud to inform you that the winner of the 2015 Recharge Rewards Contest is Dennis Pace, a fitness and healthy-living advocate from Brantford, Nova Scotia.

Pace walks away with a week-long adventure in Banff, Alberta. Some of the activities he has chosen to perform during this exciting time include dog sledding, skiing, hiking and ice climbing.

We had an incredible year, and we can’t wait to show you what’s in store in 2016.  PD
